spectacular, and have educational value. In order to

Publishing is proud to announce its first writing
contest. SDP plans to offer this unique opportunity to

Homeschool Football League
www.homeschoolfootballleague.com
The HFL invites you to join us in our mission to establish a
strong Christian football league that offers flag and
contact football to homeschooled boys throughout the state
and surrounding areas. We are excited about the football
league and its potential for expansion. It would be our
pleasure to start a new league team in your community.
Please join us as we work to build a first for homeschooled
boys, the Homeschool Football League.
Requirements for Starting an
Expansion Team in Your Community
The league uses a very simple and flexible format for
building teams. There are only three basic
requirements that are necessary to start a team:
-
Around twenty boys
-
A couple of interested dads
-
A field on which to play.
The field is typically not the
most important of the three requirements. We have
never had a problem with field availability. If you
have the boys and the dads, then you are ready to add the
HFL's next expansion team. In most cases, it will be
easiest to begin with a season of flag football.
Contact football requires much more lead-time and is usually
more difficult to organize in your first season. If you are
fortunate enough to have a committed group of parents and
enough lead-time, it is not impossible for your initial
season to be full-contact football.
Regardless of the format of your first season, we encourage
you to contact us if you are interested in establishing a
team in your area and being a part of this fantastic
opportunity for homeschooled boys between the ages of 6 and
18.
